It's a horrific story. I cannot say her husband must be guilty at this stage (that's not right, he's a suspect only until the court has made a decision), but apparently he has been beating her up quite often.
Life isn't easy for a lot of people in the world, even on a peaceful land like New Zealand. Tragedies are around us, everday, every moment.
